Siege of Leningad in the memory of people

On the 9th of May we`ll celebrate Victory Day. People
go to the Piskarevskoye National Cemetry,
dedicated as a monument to the citizens who perished
during the 900-day siege between 1941-44.
There is a ceremony of laying on wreath-laying and flowers today.
People of all ages go there to honour
the memory of lost people

St- Petersburg (Leningrad in the years of the war) has a lot of places, connected with the memory of the war, but the cemetery is the largest in the world-500,000 people had been buried here.
